Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025)
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 (DIFF 2025) is one of Vietnam’s largest cultural and tourism events, expected to take place from early June to mid-July along the picturesque Han River. With the theme “Colors of Peace”, DIFF 2025 will gather top fireworks teams from around the world, offering spectacular performances combining music, lights, and artistic installations.
In addition to the fireworks nights, the festival will feature many exciting side activities, such as street parades, artistic performances, international cuisine, and creative photo zones. The festival not only promotes Da Nang – one of Vietnam’s most livable cities – but also boosts tourism, cultural exchange, and spreads the message of peace and unity among nations.
The opening night of DIFF 2025 is scheduled for May 31, featuring a match between Vietnam 1 and Finland with the theme “Cultural Essence”. This is also the first year that two teams from Vietnam will participate in the festival.
The following fireworks nights will be held every Saturday of the subsequent weeks (with a break one week before the grand finale), with themes and participating teams as follows:
-
Night 2 (June 7): “Creative Art” – Vietnam 2 vs. Poland
-
Night 3 (June 14): “Connecting Journeys” – Canada vs. China
-
Night 4 (June 21): “Sustainable Development” – Portugal vs. United Kingdom
-
Night 5 (June 28): “Guided by Technology” – South Korea vs. Italy
-
Grand Finale (July 12): “New Era”
DIFF 2025 will take place at the Han River Port area (firing zone) and Tran Hung Dao Street (artistic performances). Each night, teams will have 20 minutes to perform fireworks displays according to their assigned themes.
